Why does the term "Color Guard" appear on the recap sheet ? There is not a color guard in DCI in the true sense of the word ! What we see on the field is a Theatrical Ballet Flag Corps. The American Flag is non existant on the field of competition.

How does the "Front Ensemble" of a drum corps figure into that which appears on the recap sheet ? I've never seen a judge assessing this componenmt during competition. These are the unhearlded talent of the ranks of drum corps..
